Diet, Day 4
It's Friday, day 4 of the diet. I am down another pound, according to the calibrated industrial scale at work. I did another 30 minutes of Nordic Tracking today, but boy is that boring!! I got tired of staring at the vapid morning news shows and infomercials, so I popped in the "Miss Congeniality" DVD. I figure that way I'll get one movie done every 4 days, and it will make the time pass more quickly.

My right ankle (broken in 2003 and still giving problems) is awfully sore after each exercise session, but it's high time to build up the strength.

I am due to go play poker at my supervisor's house on Sunday night, so I have to be very disciplined, but I know I can do it.

I won't be able to weigh on the standard scale over the weekend, so my next weigh-in will be Monday. So far the diet isn't bad at all; I feel satisfied most of the time. Let's just hope it lasts, because I've still got a long way to go!!

Summary: Delta pounds = -4, Exercise = 30 min.

Juleigh's Mass Reduction (i.e. DIET) Progress
Hey, world! This weblog is a motivational tool I'm using to keep me focused on my diet that I started Jan 4, 2005.

It's day 3 of the diet, and I'm down 3 pounds from my start weight. I have a long way to go, but I'm enthusiastic about it! My diet page with "before" pics is: http://www.herbighouse.com/diet.

For now I'm trying the Atkins diet, which I like because I don't feel like I'm constantly in denial. For example, last night I had beef stroganoff with black olives and onions. Mmmm...

I'd like to see if I can get a chart running where I could show my progress day by day, but I'll have to do some research on the feasibility of that. For now, here's my:
