Repaint by Juleigh Marie--"Jewel of the East"

The Jewel of the East is a beautiful blend of Eastern and Western heritage. Gene in "She'd Rather Dance" has been repainted with brown eyes, umber eyeshadow, and human-hair lashes. Her lips are deep red, as is her traditional Hindu mark on her forehead. Her luxurious black hair has been shampooed and restyled. All her original makeup has been removed, and she has been repainted with acrylics and sealed. Her chin has been subtlely dimpled. Her left thumb has been heated and bent slightly toward her hand to make her easier to dress. The Jewel's costume (which is included in this auction), is a Blue Goddess gown that has been carefully dyed a deep olive green and tested for colorfastness. The sequins were removed, and gold trim was hand sewn on the gown. "Jewel of the East" is wearing gold Kingstate shoes, which are also included. Her jewelry (see photos below description) consists of golden hoop earrings, a four-stranded gold chain necklace (with one clasp) featuring a red jewel on the uppermost chain, a gold chain bracelet, and a bracelet & armlet pair connected by gold chain and with another red jewel on the armlet.
