Asian Princess This doll, "She'd Rather Dance", was my second repaint, and I had a few technical problems with her while experimenting with different paints and techniques. So I kept her for myself and have always used her for any new experiment with Gene remodeling. Asian Princess has been boiled, scrubbed, sanded, filed, pierced, bent, baked, dipped in numerous chemicals, and has always borne such tortures without even the slightest complaint. To reward her for her services, and to mark her retirement from her Guinea Pig role, I gave her a fresh facial repaint and bought her this extraordinarily beautiful costume from Deb Iacovelli of "GOLDEN GIRL DESIGNS". Now Asian Princess occupies a well-earned place on a pedestal in my Gene studio, where she watches other Gene dolls benefit from the lessons I learned on her. Thanks, Princess!
