Chainmaille for Gene
is hand linked by Juleigh in the
centuries-old tradition of
European artisans and makers
of fine armor. It is created from over 600 individual nickel-plated brass rings (over 1000 rings for Special Edition chainmaille), with each ring interlocking four others in the classic 4-in-1 method. This intricate weaving of metal rings leads to a shimmering, supple, "fabric" that moves and fits to Gene's shapely figure. |
Each chainmaille ensemble includes a chainmaille top and wide belt, decorated with chains and Swarovski crystals, and with magnetic fasteners in back. A matching necklace and earrings is also included, and a coordinating multi-petaled skirt completes the costume. Skirt colors include red, blue, purple, green, pink, sage/gray, and gold.
